Top 5 Golf Balls

1. Titleist Pro V1 & Pro V1x

Pro V1 Features-The ProV1 has a softer feel on the golf ball, less iron spin, and a lower ball flight than the ProV1x. This ball has been known on the tour for over a decade and ensures durability and quality for the user. The ProV1 has been known to maximize distance and improve the short game for players. The ProV1 is better for high ball hitters. Also used by: Victor Hovland, Louis Oosthuizen

ProV1x features- This ball allows users to have long distance shots with high trajectory, good spin control, The ProV1x is better for low ball hitters than the ProV1. Because it is harder than the ProV1, there is more iron and wedge spin because of it. Also used by: Bubba Watson, Brooks Koepka

2.Taylormade TP5 & TP5x

TP5-This ball is better for more spin and higher performance around the greens. Therefore if you prefer wedge spin around the greens over distance, then this ball is for you. Also used by: Matthew Wolff, Collin Morikawa

TP5x- The TP5x on the other hand is the lowest spinning Taylormade ball. Therefore, if you prioritize distance and speed on the course over spin around the greens, the TP5x is the preferred model of golf ball. Also used by: Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy

3. Bridgestone Tour Bx & Bxs

Tour Bx- The Bridgestone Tour Bx is meant for players with swing speeds of about 105mph. This ball is typically used for higher short game spin, much like the Taylormade TP5. This model helps increase distance for golfers and emphasizes the hit and sit shots approaching the green.

Also used by: Bryson Dechambeau, Matt Kuchar

Tour Bxs- This ball was specifically designed for and by Tiger Woods back in 2018. He chose to make the balls have greater distance and spin at different times during your round. Similar to the Tour Bx, this ball is meant for players with swing speeds above 105 mph. It maximizes green spin and a softer feel of the ball in general. Unless you have a low handicap and a high swing speed, this ball is probably better for use by pros.

Also used by: Jason Day, Brendan Steele

4. Callaway Chrome Soft X Ball

Chrome Soft X Ball- The Callaway Chrome Soft X ball is used by mid-launch angle users on the course. It is profiled as a high spin ball that mostly resembles the Taylormade TP5 model and the Titleist ProV1x.

Also used by: Xander Schauffele, Jon Rahm

5. Srixon Z Star & Z Star XV

Srixon Z star- This ball is a very soft and high spinning version of the tour level balls made by Srixon. Therefore, the Z star is better off for players willing to focus on approach shots and chipping over hitting the ball further off the tee. Both Z star models are very thin and provide extra spin to satisfy golfers.

Also used by: Keegan Bradley

Srixon Z star XV- This ball is better off for long hitters and has a much higher compression than the Srixon Z star. However, it sacrifices spin to increase distance. The XV is much firmer than the standard model inorder to increase speed, specifically with your driver.

Also used by: Martin Laird, Hideki Matsuyama
